My lack of sleep over the past few weeks is finally starting to catch up on me. I seem to always be dragging and not at full strength. I am getting a lot of work done and staying focused on my work, but as soon as I step away from my desk, I can’t seem [...] At my old job I talked and communicated with a lot of other diabetics, but I didn’t actually work with any other diabetics. At one of the places I do on-site consulting for 3 days a week, Volvo Aero Services, I have been introduced to 2 other diabetics already. This is a great feeling. The discussion was brought up about the $100 million Obama is going to send to the care of Haiti. The Panthers game is on at 7, Oregon – Oregon St, the Bill-Jets, college basketball game, just too much to manage all in one night. I wonder how many people in those games are affected by diabetes. This question came up while I was reading an article in the October issue of Diabetes Forecast. There is an article titled, “Cracking the Case.” Long story short, Jeff Kapche was denied a position at the FBI because of his diabetes. He filed suit against them [...] What do you do? I know that the number one thing that majority of us have in common is that we all have diabetes, or know somebody with diabetes. But I want to know a little more.
