My boyfriend's dad had 5 kids from his previous marriage, so all his half-brothers are my parents' ages! So my boyfriend has nieces and nephews who are our age, the oldest niece is 27 and the youngest is 19. So it's the opposite from you - they are nieces and nephews that are more like cousins.
