A Fresh Start on Life

This weekend I decided that it was time for a fresh start.  A fresh start on a new attitude towards life, diabetes, work, family, and well everything that is included in life.  On the diabetes side of things, I want a fresh start.  So, I deleted all of my data from all of my diabetes devices.  I cleared all the old stuff and am starting fresh.  I am also starting with a fresh new diet that actually includes eating breakfast, which I never have before.

I’ve joined a new gym recently that is close to my house, so there are not many excuses for not working out.  Another part of my fresh start is eating a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables.  I spent about $100 at the grocery store yesterday buying fruits and veggies.  On a side note, why is good, healthy food so expensive?  I’m told to eat these foods, but they are so damn expensive.

Lastly, the laziness is out of my life.  I have a business to run, advocating to do, wedding planning, traveling, way too many things in life to enjoy, and I need every second in the day to accomplish this, so the days of just laying on the couch watching tv are done.

A fresh start, a new beginning.

I’m ready.

  1. Great attitude! I hope this “restart” works well, and wish you the strength and motivation to go through with it (I know it won’t be easy) … but don’t forget the lessons you’ve learned before! You’ve got plenty of valuable experience in your memory that you shouldn’t let go to waste.
