Another NaBloPoMo Completed

Posted by Chris on Nov 30, 2010 in Living Normally with Diabetes | 1 comment
So today is the last day of NaBloPoMo.  I had some difficulties with my blog earlier in the month with my scheduled posts not posting.  It is very difficult to post every single day by actually writing a blog post every single day.  There is no way that I can do that.  I have to write posts and then scheduled them either weeks or days in advance.  The issue that I was having at times was the when I wrote them on my phone, and scheduled them, it wasn’t syncing with my wordpress account and then it didn’t actually post and I don’t check my blog every single day, even...

Week 5 of Dieting

Posted by Chris on Nov 29, 2010 in Diet and Weight Loss, Exercise and Diabetes | 0 comments
Week 5 of my dieting and it has to get back to serious this week after the week of bad eating that I just had last week.  Last week’s eating was well worth it and I planned that type of eating into the diet because it was Thanksgiving, duh!  It just sounds weird that I am saying week 5 and it’s still November, ha.  I did not eat as bad as what I thought I would though, so I am proud of myself for that.  I only went to 1 or 2 of the eateries that I usually go to.  And when I did go to those places, I only ate half of what I usually would have eaten. I am still riding the bike...

Home Sweet Home

Posted by Chris on Nov 28, 2010 in Uncategorized | 0 comments
Home Sweet…. Second Home? I just got back home last night from my real home of Pennsylvania.  I am exhausted and tired and there is so much to get done today that I just don’t think that I will get it all done.  It is great to go on vacation and see family members and all that fun stuff, but when you come back, the first day sucks because of the to-do list.  I usually fly back on a Sunday, but this time I decided to do the Saturday flight thing so I can have all day today to get everything done that I have to do. One thing that I have to do is make a list of all the supplies...

Flying Home Tonight

Posted by Chris on Nov 27, 2010 in Living Normally with Diabetes | 0 comments
I am writing this post on my iPad as I wait for the rest of my family to get to Olive Garden for a little lunch before I have to fly back to Florida.  So that means all the flying check lists have to be done again. My posts will be back to normal length on Monday, so have a great weekend and great week.  Finish November off strong. Bookmark It Hide Sites

Black Friday Shopping

Posted by Chris on Nov 26, 2010 in Living Normally with Diabetes | 0 comments
This may be one of my shortest posts all year long.  It is Black Friday and it is 5 a.m and I am in line at Target writing this post.  Buying a tv for my parents and some other little items for other family members.  I am always worried of what my sugar is going to be on this day because I am on the go until about 3 p.m. and just eat crappy, unhealthy food from one store to the next. Well, have fun wasting money today people. Bookmark It Hide Sites
